Notre cher Haïti vient d'être frappé par un tremblement de terre sans précédent qui a causé plusieurs centaines de milliers de morts et de sans abris à Port-au-Prince, ses environs et plusieurs villes de provinces. En ces circonstances très douloureuses, nous du CFLHO tenons à exprimer notre solidarité au peuple haïtien, à tous nos membres et à leur famille.
Nous avons jusqu’ici une liste partielle des pertes en vies humaines des proches du CFLHO :
Jacob François a perdu sa sœur unique Esther François Belcher. Madame Belcher venait d’accoucher de son quatrième enfant le matin du 12 janvier en sa résidence située à 11 ruelle Boisson dans le quartier de Nazon. Esther a été enseveli sous les décombres de sa maison avec son nouveau né Jean Paul, son fils Junior âgé de 2 ans et Madeleine une sœur spirituelle qui l’assistait. L’enterrement de ces très chers disparus a eu lieu à Port-au-Prince le jeudi 14 janvier 2010.
Majolie Zéphirin a confirmé la mort de ses cousins Hubert et Odette De Ronceray, Professeur De Ronceray et sa sœur Odette on péri sous les éboulis de leur résidence à 12 rue Lamartinière dans le quartier de Nazon le mardi 12 janvier 2010, leur funérailles ont eu lieu à Miragoane.
Pasteur Wilson Jean-Claude a également perdu sa cousine Myrlande Samedi
Serge Blaise a confirmé la disparition de son oncle Efal Chenet et de sa belle-sœur Carline Jean-Pierre.
Député Berry a perdu ses 2 cousines Theonise et Sanise Orasmy
C’est avec beaucoup de peine que nous du Comité Fanmi Lavalas des Haïtiens d’Outre-Mer annonçons ces pertes regrettables. Nous souhaitons nos plus sincères condoléances aux familles des victimes.
